Barcelona 05:12
You’re walking down the alleyways Where Picasso used to roam Your senses working overtime Four hundred miles away from home You’ve got it coming to you And you’re going to fly tonight And you’re going so high tonight And you’ll never, you’ll never, you’ll never You’ll never feel the same again Tonight there is the magical place Sitting out under the stars Feel the vibe, feel the atmosphere Feel you’re never going hom Watch ripples across the water Watch waves across the sea You’re strolling down the alleyways Where Joan Miró used to roam Feels so good to be alive today Four hundred miles away from home

Tombstones 06:13
Bye bye bye Tell the truth for one in your life Before we drown, drown in the fight Or go, or go, or go Lies are all you know Come in a daze Do you even know what to say Caught in the spinning and spinning of your world Your gravity sucks me in Pulling me apart from within Fibers that made me made me me Burned, singed, from end to end Tethered in your ways, tethered in your ways Tethered in your ways, ah ah ah Bye bye bye It’s you and here and now, Time to take, take that final bow, I can’t see straight Used to be each other’s light Pleasing in pleasure and in life Oh how things change, never be the same Never be the same, never be the same Was is all your game? Take what you will It’s all the same, same, same The same, the same

Compare this with a year ago Where were we then? And not knowing, not seeing Did we know what was coming? She sits behind the fence of carefulness, rising only for the night She sits behind the fence of carefulness, rising only for the night A distant stranger penetrates the mist Leading, calling me forward We come to a house, warm and light Enter through the golden door Leave again to the night Don’t shoot me down again Now I know which way I’m going And I see the path to take

about

A return to music-making after more than 30 years of mastering, producing, remastering, mixing and editing music, this album alternates between Slowdive-influenced shoegazed and dreampop songs and instrumentals that draw from the solo work of Robin Guthrie and others. More influences you might spot include artists as diverse as Japan, OMD, Blondie and Pulp whilst the song Tombstones is named for Tombstones In Their Eyes, who I had to acknowledge, even if the finished song sounds nothing like them...

Downloads include a special bonus track: an ambient remix of Gravity Waves
